Yes, there really is a stuntman's rodeo competition. This one was held in Phoenix, Arizona. In his charming documentary, Ivan Henry captures the excitement and spectacle of the event.

 

I knew right away that Country and Bluegrass music would bring this footage alive. I had a lot of fun composing and recording this one. Fiddles and banjos rule!
